The Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) was launched in 1994 in order to encourage investments in unquoted companies carrying on qualifying trade in the UK. Since the launch of EIS in 1994, more than £10.7bn has been invested in over 21,000 companies fulfilling a much needed role in encouraging private investment into small and growing companies.
At Emergent Capital Partners, we have developed a dedicated team to help exciting growth companies with their investment plans. Early stage capital is often the most challenging environment to access capital for the next generation of businesses and ideas. Whilst this is a small part of our overall business, we feel it is important to support entrepreneurs and give them access to our expertise and sources of new capital.
